Great app!
Great app! Works like a charm. So far its working as good as any other full-sized GPS Ive ever used.
Mapas malos! Bad maps!
Realmente mala la aplicacion, confunde calles con ciudades y de hecho faltan muchas calles. Realmente es un robo de mi dinero, le envie un mail a tomtom y ninguna respuesta. ARREGLENLO Maps are bad, it mixes cities with streets, tomtom its steeling money with TomTom Chile. Ive already sent an email to tomtom but no answer. FIX THIS APP No compreeeeeeeen estooo!!!!!!!
Dont rely on in as your primary navigation device
I used this app during a trip to Santiago and Valparaiso in Nov/2011. It helped with the navigation, but we had *many* issues with the directions. The good: -never crashed -accurate location displayed with the TomTom iPhone car cradle The bad: -Valparaiso maps are not accurate: directions ask you to go the wrong way in one-way streets, or take you through pedestrian streets. -Issues with highways with side access roads: --tells you to "turn right" instead of indicating that you need to veer right towards the side road in order to take an upcoming exit --keeps telling you to "keep left" at every exit to the side access road. It should just say nothing until you need to take the exit If you choose to purchase this app, dont rely on it as your primary navigation device. Make sure you have a good map and understand where youre going first.
Bad map
As many of you have written already the map on this specific one for chile is not really good and seems outdated. Maybe Tom Tom should do a major map fix
Not bad
Pros • Got us where we were going most of the time in remote areas of southern chile. Dirt back roads included. • No phone service required to look up locations or plan trips. Huge pro!!! • Descent display of current location made it easy to travel thru ramps and strange looking intersections Cons: The UI is pretty bad. It is hard to navigate. Step by step directions (written) dont work. Hard to tell which route may be better as the displayed map is too small and cant be zoomed into. POI not always showed. Several times it showed we were driving parallel to the road we were on (in space or in the water). I would recommend this app. It isnt perfect, but beats reading a map.
